How many Main Draw & Qualifying Wildcards are awarded?
1 Main Draw and 1 Qualifying Wildcard are awarded to the Champion and Finalist of each respective division of the “Main” Wildcard Event, held in Florida.
Am i awarded a wildcard into the junior orange bowl championships, if i qualify in my regional pre-qualifying event?
Unfortunately, you do not. Qualifying through your regional pre-qualifying event (8 players will qualify from each Pre-Qualifying event), you will gain entry into the “Main” Wildcard Event in Florida, held on November 11-13 and you will have an opportunity to compete for the Main Draw and Qualifying WC’s.
Do you have to live in the region the pre-qualifying events are held in order to be eligible to play?
No, you do not. Everybody is eligible to play - even international players are eligible. As long as the event date fits into your schedule, you can play in any Regional Pre-Qualifying Event.
will the junior orange bowl wildcard series be played with usta or itf rules?
The entire JOB Wildcard Series will be played in accordance to the 2023 Junior Orange Bowl International Championship’s Qualifying rules.
Matches will be the best of 2 tie-break sets and a 10-point match tie-break in lieu of a third set. The USTA Point Penalty System will be enforced.
Five-minute warm-up, including practice serves will be allowed. Three-minutes of coaching will be allowed between the second and third set. The default time is 15 minutes.
How many players qualify into the main wildcard event?
Each Pre-Qualifying event’s draw size will dictate the number of allotted “qualifying slots” into the “Main Event.” The minimum slots into the Main Event will be 4 per Pre-Qualifier.
Those qualifiers will play in the Main Event, where the Winner will be awarded a Main Draw Wildcard and the Finalist will be awarded a Qualifying Wildcard into the 2023 Junior Orange Bowl International Championships in their respective division (Boys/Girls 12-14s).
What is the age eligibility to play in each division?
US and Foreign players: USTA age rules apply.

14 & Under - Born 2009-2011
Will matches count for my UTR/WTN (World tennis number)?
Yes, all matches for the JOB Wildcard Series “Main Event” and “Pre-Qualifying Events” will count for a player’s UTR (Universal Tennis Rating) or World Tennis Number (WTN) rating.
